Restless Legs Syndrome

Attention Deficit Disorder

(The cause and the solution)

                   RESTLESS LEGS SYNDROME

Evidence of RLS (the Elvis legs) can be seen everywhere - in classrooms, boardrooms, TV shows, restaurants, and during long-haul flights. It can manifest as a vague inner unease, or as physical restlessness that can only be relieved by moving or standing up. At its worst, RLS is experienced as an irresistible urge to move the legs, and will affect your work, concentration and sleep.Although RLS is widely regarded as an incurable neurological disorder,  it can be entirely diet-related, with age and genetics determining individual sensitivity.

ATTENTION DEFICIT, HYPERACTIVITY DISORDER

Are you impatient, rushed, fidgety, can't relax, and often over-react to stress? Are you easily bored, distracted, absent-minded? Do you often tune-out during conversations, meetings, lectures, and tend to daydream?

Whether you are an ants-in-the-pants person, or a 'somewhere-else' daydreamer, this condition can compromise your peace of mind and enjoyment of life. At its worst, it will adversely affect your career and your relationships. Symptoms may include depression and migraine headaches.

book.jpg (4121 bytes)I am so glad you have discovered this page. Finding peace from the discomfort of Restless Legs Syndrome or the agitation of ADHD is a blessed experience. RLS is already a global pandemic, with ADHD not far behind, and the reasons are not difficult to understand.

While you may not be surprised to learn that both RLS and ADHD share a common biology,  you will surely be unaware that both these 'disorders' have distinctly separate dietary origins. This dietary double-whammy that is probably the major reason a predictable dietary solution has been so elusive. Until now.

Our modern foods are packed with an absurd over-supply of phytochemicals, synthetic flavours and colours, and usually in very much greater quantities than is natural. Many of these compounds can gain access to the brain they affect certain enzymes and compromise the delicate balance between the neurochemicals dopamine, noradrenaline, and acetylcholine - the chemicals that comprise our thoughts and behaviour. Until now, it has been something of a mystery exactly which elements have what effects, and how.

RESTLESS LEGS? RESTLESS MIND? It could be something you ate, profiles the biological basis of dietary-induced RLS and ADHD, explains their relatedness, which compounds are responsible, and offers a simple, practical solution.
